I wanted to send a personal “thank you” for volunteering at our 2nd annual Saint Laurence School Art Show. With over 1,000 people in attendance and 100+ volunteers, we as a faculty thought that the show was a huge success! But, we could not have done this without you and, for this, we are truly grateful for your participation and support. God has blessed our school with so many wonderful talented people and supportive families and we are so thankful for this. The students were thrilled to have their work displayed amidst 30 professional artists throughout the show. We were amazed at their willingness to volunteer and help whenever and wherever they were needed. The responsibility that our students showed during their volunteer hours was absolutely incredible and well exceeded expectations for their age levels. The news reporter from the News of Delaware County was equally impressed and is working on an article about our students some time this month. We had close to 1,000 pieces of student artwork displayed in our student gallery, along with our many “artists-in-action” who face-painted 100+ clients throughout the day, sponge painters who threw paint on canvases, chalk-drawers who created a student mural, sand artists, carnival game runners and more. All-in-all, I am more than impressed with the support from this school and the many families that came out to the show. Thank you for ALL that you do and let’s start thinking about next year’s show!
